Step Your Game Up!

by chinwhat at 5:46 p.m.
I’m not talking about your girl picking up skills (or am I?), but about something that is near and dear to our hearts: video games. Sure, none of us have as much time to play as we’d like, but I’m sure if we ALL put some effort into it, we could get a semi-regular game on. Who can forget the good times we had with StarCraft? And who wouldn’t love to shut Shaun’s trap with his “I can beat anyone in any RTS game” nonsense? He should’ve sent out an email by now, but knowing him… well, yknow… So I went to IGN and Gamespot’s websites and posted the highest scoring RTSs:

IGN:
Sacrifice: 9.4/10, release: Nov 16, 2000
Age of Mythology: 9.3/10, release: Oct 31, 2002
Alpha Century: 9.5/10, release: Feb 12, 1998
Close Combat 3: 9.0/10, release: ???
Homeworld: 9.5/10, release: Sept 28, 1999
Rome: Total War: 9.4/10, release: 22, 2004

Gamespot:
Rise of Nations: 9.3/10, release: May 21, 2003
Rome: Total War: 9.1/10, Sept 23, 2004
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War, Sept 21, 2004

Now I ain’t read none of the reviews, but there you go. Who’s down? The Dooch? Torreno? Chris? Jon? Shaun? Habib? Dr. T? Mother Brain? (If you include me, that already nine!!) I’d even consider getting my cousin a copy if we need to make it an even ten! I’d ask ai to play, but we all know that 1) he’s to cheap to buy any game, 2) he wouldn’t play, 3) he’d suck ass – who’d want to spend their time protecting his stooped ass? So who’s down?

I'm down.

I nominate any game that my 1.8ghz processor (with non-asus motherboard) and imitation ati video card can handle.
